About
For a lot of us, the pet came first.
We're Tyler and Emily. We make Furever Tales — keepsake books that put a family's real pet at the center of the story. Here is why we make them.
Two people in New Jersey
Furever Tales is the two of us, working as Sagamore Studios in New Jersey. We started it in 2025, and we agree completely on what it's for — one vision, held by two people who never have to be talked into it.
Why the pet
For a lot of families now, the pet arrives first. It grows up alongside you, becomes part of the shape of your days, and teaches you something about home long before a child does. The pet is the one who's always there — the steady proof, on the hard days, that you're loved.
So when we set out to make a keepsake worth keeping, the pet was never going to be a detail in the corner. The pet is the heart of every book we make — your real pet, illustrated from your own photographs, recognizable on every page.
A book about your family — not just with your name in it
We wanted to close the distance between a book with a child's name dropped in and a book that is truly about a family. So every part is yours: the people you choose, in whatever shape your family takes — and, if you'd rather, a book built entirely from scratch around a story only you have lived.
Emily reads every note
When you write to us, you're writing to Emily. Every proof, every “yes, of course we can do that,” every gentle reply to a family remembering a pet they've lost — that's her, by hand, one family at a time. The warmth isn't a policy. It's a person.
We won't send a book we wouldn't keep
You approve every page before anything is printed, so there are no surprises at the door. And we hold ourselves to one plain standard: we won't send you a book we wouldn't be proud to put on our own shelf. If we can't make it right, we cancel the order and refund you rather than ship it.
Made to be kept
These books are made to be read aloud when a child is small, and read again, years later, by a child who has grown — to remember the pet, the people, and the person who gave it. A moment cannot be held. The love inside it can. So they always will.
